The Florida Department of Education, Division of Public Schools is currently recruiting for the following

position in Tallahassee:

Executive Director, Just Read, Florida! Office

Provides leadership in development of state policy relating to reading and reading initiatives;

administers reading programs and services throughout Florida¡¯s public education system;

maintains designations of effective reading instruction and related credentials; provides technical

assistance and support to school districts in the development and implementation of plans for

research-based reading instruction.

A doctorate degree in related field is preferred, but not required.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
