You will be subject to a probationary period of 913 hours at straight time which is equivalent to six (6) months of full-time employment, following which you will be recommended for confirmation provided that your performance is satisfactory.

*If part-time

You will be subject to a probationary period of 913 hours at straight time or a maximum of 12 months from your appointment date, following which you will be recommended for confirmation provided that your performance is satisfactory.

*If rehired in retirement year

As you are being rehired subsequent to retirement (in your retirement year) and have already received this year’s vacation entitlement, please note that, for the remainder of this calendar year you will not receive 6% in lieu of vacation. Effective January 1st 20XX vacation entitlements will be initiated.
