Claims submitted with effective dates on or after 7/1/23 will be mass adjusted. August 2024Paper Claim Billing Errors to AvoidPlease review these common errors to avoid claims being returned to the provider (RTP) when billing paper claims:Claims must be submitted on commercially printed, red claim forms. Copies or printed claims cannot be accepted.Reconsideration and adjustment forms must be accompanied by a completed claim form. These forms should be fully completed and signed.August 2024Provider Enrollment Submissions Transition to Web PortalEffective August 1, 2024, the HCA will transition fully to electronic online provider enrollment submissions and will no longer accept submissions by mail or fax. This means that all applications, updates, revalidations/TADs, and uploading of documents must be submitted by Medicaid providers through the Provider Web Portal only, and paper or faxes will no longer be accepted after July 31, 2024. The fax number 866-653-1439, previously utilized to submit Provider Enrollment documents, will be deactivated on 8/1/2024.Provider Enrollment documents received by mail with a post mark after 7/31/2024 will be returned to the provider.The NM Medicaid Web Portal is at .
