Doctoral students who plan to conduct research about folklore, children¡¯s literature and storytelling (youth or adult)

through the use of the Ellin Greene Storytelling Collection in the Butler Children¡¯s Literature Center are eligible to

receive up to $1500 in 2022-2023 scholarship funds.

Complete this application form and include your responses to additional information requested below.

All applicants must complete the FAFSA online at (school code:

001750). The FAFSA score must be filed each year the applicant seeks aid and is valid for a one-year

period.

Applicants must plan to enroll in the SOIS PhD program for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Scholarships are awarded to students based on a combination of merit as demonstrated by the incoming GPA, need as

demonstrated on the FAFSA, and scholarship criteria match to the student¡¯s research focus. Please provide the

following information as part of your application for the Ellin Greene scholarship:
