Dear Campers and Parents,

This note will alert you to the opening of our British Challenger Soccer Camp. We are looking forward to an exciting week of fun, expert instruction, and challenging activities in soccer.

Camp begins Monday, August 4, at 9:00 a.m. or at 1:00 p.m. if doing half day afternoon session. Pick-up is at 12:00 p.m. for those doing half day morning session and 4:00 p.m. for those doing full day or half day afternoon session. There is no after care available this week, so children must be picked up promptly at 12:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. Camp drop-off and pick-up should be via School House Lane at the turf field which is located near the School House Lane entrance to Penn Charter. Proceed up the driveway towards the school and park in the parking lot in front of the turf field to drop off your child. A counselor will be stationed here to assist your camper and help direct him/her to our meeting place. If it is raining, please report to the Raymond F. Dooney Field House which is located in the back of the campus. Turn right at the stop sign and proceed to the back parking lot. The field house will be on your right.

Come dressed to play in shorts, a t-shirt, sneakers and turf cleats (if you have them). You must bring sneakers each day to camp. If there is inclement weather, we will be in the field house and cleats are not permitted. We will have soccer balls available. Please bring the following equipment and supplies: Shin-guards, water bottle, sunscreen and lunch, if you are attending full day. We do not have lunch available this week, nor do we have transportation this week. Please make sure it is a lunch that does not need to be refrigerated.

Be sure you have completed the medical form which is available on our registration site and have it returned before the first day of camp. Campers will not be permitted to participate in any activity unless we have the completed medical form. We will have a trainer on staff. If a child needs medications, they must be able to administer the medications themselves.

We look forward to helping your camper realize his/her potential as an individual athlete. Please don’t hesitate to call the camp office if you have any questions or concerns. See you on August 4.

Sincerely,

Charlie Kaesshaefer Stephanie Kuper
