Family life: Information on daily life in Australia. Possibly include housing, jobs, money, etc. School: What is the school day like? Homework? Classroom? Describe what it would be like to be a student in Australia. Natural Events/Disasters: Major natural disasters that frequently affect Australia. Possibly include earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, etc. Imports/Exports: What does Australia grow or make that they sell to other places (exports)? What are some things it brings in (imports) from other places? What is Australia’s main industry? What is Australia known for or what brings in the most money to Australia? What natural resources can be found in Australia and in what part of Australia are these located?Quality of Work Neatness of overall project; Spelling and grammar; Pictures and visuals included in each section to help the viewer get to know about Australia and aid in your overall presentation.Group ParticipationEach group member will be graded separately based on their participation, completion, and accuracy of their assigned section.At the end of each class period, students will receive a daily grade, which will be used to help determine final project grades once the project is completed.
