As you complete the scavenger hunt, either on your own or with your teachers or family, you will quickly learn how the textbook is organized and how to get them most out of your reading and study time.

11 On the Periodic Table on the back inside cover, what do blue squares mean?

12 Each lesson in each chapter will list the new vocabulary words at the beginning. What are the 3 vocabulary words in Chapter 1 Lesson 1?

13 The beginning of each Unit has a timeline of science discoveries. Find the timeline for UNIT 2. What made EGYPT a rich country? Where did this material come from?
