Copy out your survey data into a new table, make sure your table looks like this:
|Category |Freq |Pie Chart Workings |Angle |

You also need to know the TOTAL of how many people you asked.
• Work out how many degrees represent one person (CALCULATOR) by doing
360 ÷ total
• Write this answer in the Pie Chart Workings space for each category
• To find the Angle multiply the number in the Pie Chart Workings column by the number in the Frequency column
• Check that your angles all add up to 360º

• Now you are ready to draw your pie chart.
• Use your PROTRACTOR to measure your portions accurately and then use a RULER to draw them in.
• Now use colour, and don’t forget to label and title your PIE CHART
