Piecemakers Betweens Quilting Needles Size 12 are a must for my hand quilting needs. I have tried many other brands, including the very expensive brands, and I've never been satisified, until I tried Piecemakers. Recently, I ran out of my Piecemaker needles and needed to meet a deadline to finish a Christmas gift. Out of desperation I had to use another brand that had been given to me by a friend. She had promised that the new needles were "the best to be found" and I would "love them". So I opened the package and threaded the fancy designer needle with high hopes! After about 3 stitches the "other needle" was bent and I was not able to continue working on my project. Since I live a considerable distance from a quilting supply store I logged on to to order some needles, and my new Piecemaker needles were delivered in just a few days. Piecemakers are very durable and the only brand I have used, with success, for the past 17 years! -- Bonnie McKee

When I use the DMC needles, or alternatives, I have to chuck mine away after one project. If I'm doing a big project (say a Mira, not that I ever stitch those), I can use up a whole pack of needles. These Piecemakers, I have taken 2 out of the packet (for 2 different projects) and I am still using them a month later. (Tapestry 28) -- From an internet embroidery blog

I ran across your needle in New Orleans. They are the best I've ever used! -- Gretchen Mortimer

Through the kindness of a friend, I became hooked on your needles. They work so much better than others. -- Gail Baer

Help! I'm down to my last needle and no other brand gives me those wonderful little stitches. -- Rebecca Sherwood
