Dr. Floyd D. Beachum Program Director for Educational Leadership Lehigh University Bethlehem, PA 18015

Dear Dr. Beachum,

I spoke with Dr. Louise Donohue last week about continuing to work in education after I retire as a Superintendent of Schools in June. She told me about the possibility of an opening in Lehigh University's Educational Leadership Program to supervise interns, and that sounds like a great opportunity. I look forward to retirement from my position as superintendent and to the personal time it will provide for me. With that being said, I also know myself well, and I am looking for different ways to contribute to the profession that provided me great satisfaction for so many years. I enjoyed my work as an adjunct and believe that I learned as much from my students as they may have learned from me.

My resume is included with this letter, and I respectfully ask that you consider hiring me as supervisor of interns in the Educational Leadership Program. In addition, I am also interested in teaching any leadership program classes for which you may need an instructor.

Thank you again for your consideration.

Respectfully,

Mary Anne Wright, Ph.D.
