AP European History – Spring Final Project – Dream Trip to Europe --DUE DATE: June 6th 50 Exam Points, 100 HW Points, 100 FRQ PointsObjective:Students will work individually to research and plan a 21-day trip to Europe that includes visits to at least three (3) countries, based on a budget of $6000 for each person. Students will learn the basics of how to travel by researching the following:Passport / Visa applicationRound-trip flights to EuropePacking (there are weight and suitcase restrictions, be aware of them)Ground transportation / inter-nation transportationAccommodations and foodEntertainment and sightseeingSouvenirs / gifts for folks back home Budgeting and record keepingOnce researched students then plan and execute their trip, creating a diary (hard copy or electronic) of each phase of the adventure, complete with photos and other artifacts to be presented to the rest of the class. Also, students will learn to correctly cite sources and include a “Works Cited” page according to MLA format rules.Assumptions:For the sake of this project we will assume that you are an adult and able to apply for and / or purchase travel documents, rent a car (if desired), rooms, etc. and that you have all necessary clothing and sundriesDirections:.Download and complete the required passport / visa application(s)Decide which countries you will travel to (minimum of 4)Research and make arrangements for any flights, ground transportation, accommodations, shows, events, museums, etcConstruct a packing list for each of your bags and its approximate weightConstruct an itinerary of each place visited and activity planned. Note: You must visit at least ten different places of historical significance.
