The other six students hailed from Grand Rapids, Henry Ford (four), and Lake Michigan. All participants wrapped up their assistantships by creating posters on the research they pursued. Heading up the “Bridges” initiative at WMU is Gyula Ficsor, a native of Hungary who came to the United States in 1957 and went on to serve in the U. S. Army. ................
