Thank you for your interest in holding your event at Celebrate Community Church. It is our desire to create close union between good stewardship of Celebrate Church’s facilities, and our Core Value of “Utilizing the facilities in service to our community.” Use of the building is available to businesses and church or community organizations.
Enclosed, you will find some facility policies and guidelines, as well as a request form with associated fees. To reserve space and have your event placed on the calendar, please return the form and the deposit. Wedding Facility Policy

The following policy strives to create close union between good stewardship of Celebrate Church’s facilities, and her Core value of “Utilizing the facilities in service to our community.” Use of the building is available to businesses and church or community organizations. To that cause, use of Celebrate Church facilities shall be guided by the following:
· Available space will depend upon scheduling around regular Celebrate Church’s activities and programs.
· Availability may also depend on the race season as parking and noise may limit the facility’s services.
· No weddings or special events will be scheduled on holiday weekends.
· Activities must conclude to allow for the building to be vacated by 10:00 PM on weekdays and by 6:00 PM on Saturdays. 8:30 PM if reception follows the wedding at church
· All groups renting space are responsible for any structural or equipment damage while renting space in the building.
· The Administrative Assistant and/or Lead Wedding Coordinator of Celebrate Church will handle all requests and determine availability of the facility.
· A $100 deposit is required when reserving space. This fee will be subtracted from total bill after the event is held, if no damage to the building or equipment is found.
· No red juice is allowed. Drinks should be covered with lids for coffee and lids and straws for cold drink.
· Rental fees will cover events of 6 hours or less. If extra time is needed, arrangements must be made with the Lead Wedding Coordinator.
· No alcohol will be allowed on Celebrate Church property. No smoking is allowed in the building.
· Trained Celebrate Church Technical Team members must operate all technical equipment (sound, video presentation, and light board).
· Payment is due one week before the scheduled event.

Lead Wedding Coordinator Responsibilities
1. See if the date is available on the church calendar – no events on holiday weekends.
2. Date is secured upon receipt of Wedding Request Form and payment of deposit.
3. Provide a copy of the Wedding Request Form to the assigned Wedding Coordinator.
4. Make arrangements for the use of any sound, light, video systems and/or technical support.
5. Communicate policies and fees if necessary.
6. Facilitate and post payment.
Assigned Pastor Responsibilities
1. Celebrate’s Pastor is responsible for all weddings at Celebrate Church or he/she will approve a guest pastor.
2. Make appointment to discuss date and details.
3. Make appointment for premarital counseling.
4. Pastor performs ceremony.
5. Premarital counseling, lead by professional Christian counselors in the local community or by Celebrate’s Pastor is required for persons seeking to be married at Celebrate.
6. Celebrate’s Pastor may or may not be available to attend rehearsal or rehearsal/reception dinners.
Assigned Wedding Coordinator
The Wedding Coordinator is responsible for the successful coordination, and assessment of a couple’s requests for a wedding ceremony and rehearsal at Celebrate Community Church.
1. Make an appointment to discuss arrangements and details.
2. Final details must be approved 4 weeks prior to event
3. Completion of wedding assessment, leading of rehearsal and post clean-up, general support during wedding day and post clean-up (rooms are clear of personal items, candelabras and bows removed from the stage, etc.)
General Guidelines for Bridal Parties
1. Removal of wedding decorations must be done by the party concerned immediately following the ceremony, under the direction of the wedding coordinator.
2. Fire code prevents the use of candles or hurricane candles from being used along the aisles. Candelabras and other candles may be used on the stage but must be set on plastic. The use of candles in chairs by audience is not allowed. The cost of wax removal and damage caused by candles will be the responsibility of the renter of facility.
3. No smoking is permitted anywhere within the church building.
4. Alcoholic beverages of any kind are not allowed. No alcohol is allowed on church property and patrons who have consumed alcohol will be asked to leave. If a member of the wedding party or a guest appears intoxicated, it is the responsibility of the groom and/or parents of the bride or groom to ask them to leave.
5. Activities must conclude to allow for the building to be vacated by 10:00 PM on weekdays and by 6:00 PM on Saturdays. 8:30 PM if reception follows the wedding at church
6. Maximum seating for receptions held in the Café/Lounge: ______ at tables or ______ on chairs
7. The use of rice and confetti is prohibited. Birdseed and bubbles are allowed outside the building
8. Other requests must be approved in advance
9. The areas used during the day, dressing rooms, food, etc., will be cleaned up by the family and checked by the Wedding Coordinator.
