Welcome! Cornerstone is a child friendly congregation—open to all. Our thanks for our Ministry with the Deaf. Sue Woolverton will resume interpreting in September. We appreciate her signing of the words and songs.

The Cornerstone Nominating Committee is currently taking nominations for Deacon – today is the last day. Please give your nominations to any member of the nominating committee: Bob Wegner, Barbara Dougherty, Sueli Robert, Allyson Moyer, Bob Drake, or Sean Beeg. The Nominating Committee will meet after worship today.

Confirmation Class for High School Youth in 9th grade and above will be offered from February – May 2012.  There will be an information meeting the last Sunday in January for all parents and youth who are interested in learning more.  We do need adult members to serve as mentors for this course.  If you are interested in serving as a mentor, please contact Elizabeth Hughes or Courtney Cromie for more information.  Youth who are interested may also let us know.

Financial Peace University We will be offering this course created by Dave Ramsey this Fall. If you want to learn how to handle your finances according to Biblical Principles and spiritually reenergize yourself and your family in the process, you will want to participate in this course. Thank you to all who dedicated School Supplies – today is the last day for the collection. The supplies will be given to the Jackson Food Pantry for children in need.

Men’s Bible Study will take a break for the remainder of the summer, resuming in September. More information to follow.
