HOW DO I CONTACT MY COUNSELOR?

During your Independent Learning Days, the counseling team can be reached via email or by phone. The following slide contains the email address and Google Voice phone numbers for each team member. We are still available for all the following: Academic Planning & Course Selection Guidance College and Career Planning Classroom Guidance Social and Emotional Support & Individual Counseling

*Please keep in mind that the school days ends at 3:05pm. Any calls/emails received after this time will be returned the following school day. In the instance of an emotional crisis, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.

Click here or on the name of your counselor on the next slide to schedule an appointment with your counselor.

You will be forwarded to a form where you will need to select the date, time, and counselor.

Click "Book". You will be contacted at your selected appointment date and time.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

March & May SAT - CANCELLED

The makeup March SAT administration scheduled for March 28, 2020 , as well as the May 2, 2020 administration, are BOTH CANCELLED. Students registered to take the SAT will receive a refund of all registration fees and will have the opportunity to register for a future test date.

April ACT ? POSTPONED

Student registered to take the ACT on April 4th will have the ability to register for the rescheduled date of June 13th for free. Each student registered for the April ACT will receive an email from ACT regarding registration for the new date.

Open Campus Session 5 ? NOW ONLINE

For students currently recovering credit at Open Campus Evening Session 5, please read the email in its entirety sent to you from the OC Evening Directors, Ms. Anderson and Mrs. Blakley. The email contains instructions for how students will complete their courses online.

COLLEGE & CAREER PLANNING

Every 11th and 12th Grade student will be expected to complete a guidance lesson that will be posted on Its Learning. More information regarding this task will be released soon.

To send transcripts to schools in Georgia, you can send those for free using your GA Futures account. For transcripts that need to be sent out of the state, please contact Ms. Okeke.

For a recommendation letter, please reach out to your counselor.

MEAL DELIVERY

RCPS will deliver meals on weekdays starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020 to children age 18 and under in Rockdale County neighborhoods while school buildings are closed.

Meals will be delivered between 10:50 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. via RCPS school bus. Look for the bus and listen for the horn!

Be sure to let the lunch bus know of any food allergies. Meals must be picked up at one of the delivery locations and must be picked up with a child present or by the child.

FREE INTERNET SERVICE

Comcast and Spectrum are offering two months of FREE internet service for students who do not have internet service. In addition, Spectrum and Xfinity (Comcast) wifi hotspots in Conyers and across the country will be open to the public starting March 16. See the links below.
