• Alternatively go on the web and download-Wavepad or Audacity from their respective website-need help start searching using Google internet search engine. These recording software are free for now-it means download it and use it whenever.

• A webcam or digital camcorder (It is important you use digital camcorder, so you don’t have to convert and save time). However using a camcorder or a webcam is optional-if your podcast is audio podcast.



4. How do I get started?

• Rule 1: You will need a pen and paper to write down a few things

• Write down your aims/why do need a podcast?

• What is your target audience?-What sort of people do you want to engage or use your services?

• What do you think is perfect for your target audience?

• Why can you do to make your podcast a unique one? Make a list of things you can do

• Have you down some window shopping on the internet just to see what is already out there? Perhaps that will give you an idea.

• Next stage is a bit technical but ignore the grammar, what is important is you get things done and dusted-that is creating your RSS feed

• Publishing your podcast on the web is very important so others can have access to it and see what you are all about.

• Get a web space to upload your podcast-just to feel the pulse of your audience, listen to their comments and suggestions.

• Alternatively get yourself a blog and make a post on it with an appropriate title

6. Do I really need to a web domain?

• Yes, you will need one to upload your podcast-that is your door and window to the outside world. Imagine a shop without a door and window! If you want many people to see your podcast, appreciate it and download it, and even tell others about it then-this is all you need!
