Planning your Kenning - Bathwick

Think of an animal?

- What does it look like?

- How does it move?

- What does it feel like?

- What does it smell like?

- What does it sound like?

- What does it do?

- What doesn’t it do?

- What does it think?

Make some notes and then try to write your own Kenning. It should be no more than eight lines long

Use the Mind-map below to help you to plan

Now use the words to begin to write your sentences for the poem. Remember to begin every sentence with ‘A . . . . . . . . ‘
