Quotes:

Women are like teabags. We don't know our true strength until we are in hot water! Eleanor Roosevelt - actual quote

***

On Christmas Eve,

At Half Past Three

Brew Yourself

A Cup Of Tea.

I'll Think Of You,

You Think Of Me,

Sitting Beside

The Christmas Tree.

***

May your life always

be like a pot of tea…

overflowing to warm the soul.

***

Come and share

A pot of tea,

My home is warm,

And my friendship free.

***

A little cup of Friendship

In this cup of tea,

When you sit and drink it,

Think of Love from me.

***

A little cup of Friendship

With a bag of tea

When you relax and drink this

Remember it brings love from me.

****

A cup of tea warms the

soul like a good friend.

***

May your days be

Steeped with Joy

And warmed with Love.

***

Tea pot is on, the cups are waiting,

favorite chairs anticipating;

No matter what I have to do,

my friend, there's always time for you.

***

Love and Scandal are the best sweetners of tea

- Henry Fielding

***

I wish we could sit together

And drink a cup of tea.

But since we can't,

When you have this one,

I hope you'll think of me!

***

When your day seems topsy turvey

And as stormy as can be

There's nothing quite as tranquil

As a nice hot cup of tea

While you savor this ambrosia

Your problems fade away

Its warmth will bring you comfort

And brighten up your day

So take a private moment

There's a calmness as you'll see

All because you briefly stopped

To sip a cup of tea.

- Anonymous

***

Through thick and thin, it's plain to see

you'll always be a friend to me.

Though near or far, I hope that we

will find some time to share some tea.

***

Day in and out I strive to be the kind of (mother, sister, friend, aunt cousin ...) you've been to me.

So let's pretend you're here with me and sit right down to have some tea.

***

-- and a variation of the original Christmas one --

On Christmas day (Easter, Mother's Day ...) at half past three,

have yourself a cup of tea.

At that time I will be, remembering (what you mean to me (all you've done for me).

***

Oh I wish I was a china cup from which you drink your tea

and every time you took a sip you would give a kiss to me!!

***

I really miss your presence,

I like to hear your views,

I wish that we could visit,

And catch up on the news.

Since we can’t do that often,

The one thing I can see,

Is we can dream together,

And have a cup of TEA!

notes and diagram to gallery piece: It's 3 1/4 X 3 1/4 folded so you would cut your cardstock 3 1/4 inches by 9 3/4 inches scoring at 3 1/4 inches on each end and cutting the pocket at an angle as shown on the photo. These are too cute and will really be great for little Christmas gifts inside a card to a long distance family or friend.

On Christmas Day

At half past three

Have yourself a cup of tea.

I'll think of you,

You'll think of me

Sitting around the Christmas tree.
