This image was taken with an inexpensive point-and-shoot camera, a prime candidate for noise, and if I zoom in on the gorilla, we see lots of red, green and blue "splotches" in her fur, especially along the edges between the dark shadow areas and the lighter areas: Red, green and blue color noise is visible when we zoom in. ................
