CONSULTATIONS

The application was reported as an Additional Item to the Site Visit Planning Committee on 27th September 2016, but was deferred by officers pending the submission of additional information regarding the site access. Further information has been submitted whereby the location of the site access has been moved to the north and a temporary speed limit of 40mph is proposed in order to achieve the required visibility at the site access.

Head of Transport ? No formal response received to date.

County Councillor Pam Palmer - Has made the following comments:

1 As you will be well aware the A485 is a very busy road especially at the peak times of the day i.e. between 7.30 and 9.30am. and 3.30 and 6.00pm.

2 The A485 has steep inclines in many places along the route to Alltwalis and very few places to overtake. At present, there is a lot of driver frustration due to slow vehicles holding up traffic, resulting in long slow tail backs and a very slow frustrating journey.
