- 1967 Valley opened it's doors as an Inground Pool Builder by Jim & Dolly Harding

- 1970's Valley won multiple industry awards through the decade for inground pool design & install

- 1982 Valley was recognized as one of the region's top pool builders

- 1987 Valley was sold to the Harding's granddaughter, Corie Kraft, as it was important to remain in the family

- 1988 Corie and her husband Jeff committed to providing the area's most helpful place for pool supplies and advanced water testing, and moved the business focus to aboveground pools & supplies.

- 1989 Valley Pool & Spa begins to sell hot tubs.

- 1990's Corie and Jeff organically grew the business through 100% word-of-mouth by exceeding expectations and receiving dozens of industry and local awards

- 2002 Valley expanded by building a new 2-story retail store on the North Versailles property.

- 2004 Valley expanded once again, and purchased next door property to take the parking lot from 8 spaces to 30 spaces in North Versailles along with adding a larger outdoor Pool display area.

- 2006 Valley purchases the other neighboring property that included a 6000 sq ft building, which is now to this day the Valley Pool & Spa Superstore.

- 2007 Valley introduces our "Discount Warehouse" concept by expanding our product selection over 120%.

- 2008 Valley adds our first satellite location in Greensburg

- 2011 Valley adds our 3rd store in Monroeville

- 2012 Valley is named a "Pittsburgh Top 100 Local Company" for our growth, and also awarded as one of the "Best Places to Work in Pittsburgh" for our commitment to our employees.

- 2013 Valley is named the #1 Pool & Retailer in the United States by the United Aqua Group.

- 2014 Valley adds our 4th store in Washington.

- 2015 Valley adds our first central 15,000sqft distribution center to supply all of our locations, along with our 5th retail store in Charleroi

- 2016 Valley is for the second time named a "Pittsburgh Top 100 Local Company" for our growth, and also for the second time awarded as one of the "Best Places to Work in Pittsburgh" for our commitment to our employees.

Valley Pool & Spa remains highly family oriented to this day, employing 49. Many of which are husband/wife, siblings, significant others, or friends. We stay committed to exceeding customer expectations by providing a high morale workplace for our staff, which was Jim & Dolly Harding's goal since 1967 that Corie and Jeff kept on track from 1987 to this day! We also highly value the ability to continue to supports dozens of local foundations, little league teams, local schools, Make-A-Wish, and much more. We are proud to give back to the communities that have supported us all this time!
