Pick up 6 twin beads and form a circle, leaving about 6 to 7 inches tail. This is your 1st round.Note:You may tie a knot to secure the thread or you may pass the thread into the twin beads several times. Step 2: 2nd round Insert a 3mm pearl in between the twin beads. Pick up a 3mm pearl and in counter-clockwise direction pass the thread into the next twin bead. Remember the twin beads have 2 holes so pass the thread into the upper hole like shown in this picture.Repeat previous step 5x. Going counter-clockwise weave around the twin beads and have the thread come out again the 1st 3mm pearl. You now have your 2nd round.Step 3:? Circular Flat PeyoteStart your Circular Flat Peyote stitch. Pick up 3pcs 11/0 bronze seed beads. Still going counter-clockwise, skip the next twin bead and pass the thread into the next pearl.Repeat previous step 5x and go around your beadwork. This is your 3rd round.Step 4:Coming out of a 3mm pearl, do a step up. Still in counter-clockwise direction simply pass the thread into the next 3pcs 11/0 bronze seed beads, shown in bracket. Now, you're ready to start another round.Step 5: 4th roundPick up 2 twin beads. In counter-clockwise direction skip the next 3mm pearl and pass the thread into the next 3pcs 11/0 bronze seed beads. Pull the thread.Repeat previous step 5x and this is how it should look like. This is your 4th round.Note:When you're almost finished weaving the 4th round do not pass the thread through the 3pcs 11/0 bronze seed beads, but have the thread come out the 2nd 11/0 bronze seed bead shown in yellow circle.?Step 6: Pick up 8/0 bronze seed bead. In clockwise direction, pass the thread through the adjacent 11/0 seed bead from the 4th round. Pull the thread.Step 7:Continue in clockwise direction, pass the thread through the 8/0 bronze seed bead you just added and into the next twin bead.Pull the thread tight.?Step 8: 5th round This time in clockwise direction continue to create your 5th round. Pick up a 5mm pearl and pass the thread into the next twin bead.Step 9:Pick up 8/0 bronze seed bead and in clockwise direction, pass the thread into the adjacent 11/0 bronze seed bead. ...and back again into 8/0 bronze seed bead you just added, through and out the next twin bead.Pull the thread.Step 10:Repeat Step 8 and 9. Go all the way around your beadwork but stop at the last twin bead of the round.See on this image, shown in yellow circle that the last twin bead is not? yet connected. Step 11:Connect the last twin bead by passing the thread into 8/0 bronze seed bead. In clockwise direction, pass through the adjacent 11/0 bronze seed bead......and then pass the thread into the 8/0 bronze seed bead and the next twin bead. Finally, pull the thread.?To make the beadwork stiff go all the way around, passing through the 5mm pearls, twin beads and 8/0 bronze seed beads. Secure your thread by making knots and cutting off excess thread.?Step 12: Repeat Step 1 - 11 and create several of these circular components. One component measures about 1 inch. For a 6.75-inch bracelet, including the beaded clasp you need at least 5 circular components.Step 13: Creating a loopCut an arm span of thread. Pick up 1 component and secure the thread by passing through several beads until you come out an 8/0 bronze seed bead.?Step 14:Pick up an 8/0 bronze seed bead. In clockwise direction, pass the thread into the adjacent 8/0 bronze seed bead from the 5th round and come out again the 8/0 bronze seed bead you just added.String 22pcs 11/0 bronze seed beads and going in circle pass the thread into the new 8/0 added. Pull the thread and now you have a loop.?Secure the loop by passing through several beads...?...until you come out a twin bead from the opposite side. Step 15: Linking the componentsComing out of a twin bead, on this image your are coming out of the right side, pick up 3mm pearl, twin bead and 3mm pearl. In counter-clockwise pass the thread into the twin bead, 8/0 bronze seed bead and twin bead from the 5th round. ?As you pull the thread, pass the thread back into the 3mm pearl and twin bead you just added.?Step 16: Continue by picking up a 3mm pearl. Using right angle weave connect another component? by passing the thread into the? twin bead, 8/0 bronze seed bead and twin bead from the 5th round. Pick up another 3mm pearl and pass the thread into the twin bead already connected from the other component....and then pull the thread. You now have connected 2 components.Note:You may pass the thread back through the linking beads (3mm pearls and twin bead) several times to secure the link.Step 17:After linking continue by passing the thread through several beads until you come out a twin bead from the other side. Repeat Step 15 & 16 so you can continue to connect another component. Step 18:After linking your circular components have your thread come out an 8/0 bronze seed bead. Pick up another 8/0 bronze seed bead. Now, depending on what side of the beadwork you came out, weave using Ladder Stitch and connect 2 pcs 8/0 bronze seed beads. On this image we are weaving clockwise direction and connected an 8/0 bronze seed bead. ?Repeat previous step, going counter-clockwise and connect another 8/0 bronze seed beads.Secure by tying knots and cutting off excess thread. Set aside.Step 19: Tubular PeyoteCut at least 25 inches of thread. Pick a bead stopper. On this image it is the 8/0 bronze seed bead on the left. Pass the thread twice into the bead stopper and then string 14 pcs 11/0 bronze seed beads.Step 20:Starting with 14 pcs 11/0 seed beads create a strip of Peyote Stitch. Pick up 11/0 seed bead, skip the next bead and pass through the next bead.?Pull the thread tight and your beadwork should look like this. You'll have a zipper-like teeth. Step 21:?Continue to weave rows of Peyote until you have 5 rows. You now have a flat Peyote. You can now remove the bead stopper and secure the tail end.Step 22:Fold your flat Peyote and connect the sides to form a tube. Weave in zigzig direction and connect the sides.?Now you have a Peyote tube. Step 23:Continue by picking up a 3mm pearl.Pass the thread into an 11/0 seed bead to secure the 3mm pearl in place then pass the thread into several beads until you come out the other side. Pick up a 3mm pearl, secure the pearl and pass the thread back through several beads until you come out the center of the tube.Step 24:Bring up your bracelet and connect onto the 8/0 bronze seed beads. Secure your thread, tie knots and cut off excess thread.Voila! You have your Midnight Mystique bracelet with a custom beaded toggle clasp.?Appendix 1: Midnight Mystique Earrings? Here's another idea where you can make the component into earrings.Step 25: Start from Step 1 - 11 on how to create a circular component. When finished do not cut the thread yet.Step 26:Repeat Step 15 and weave a 3mm pearl, twin bead and 3mm pearl, shown in yellow circle.Step 27: Pass the thread into several beads and come out a twin bead from opposite side. Looking at this picture you need to weave and attach your briolette.Repeat again Step 15. Coming out of a 3mm pearl, pass through the twin bead and make U-turn and pass the 2nd hole of the twin bead. String 2 pcs 3mm pearls, briolette, 2 pcs 3mm pearls and pass the twin bead again. Make a U-turn and going up, pass the other hole of the twin bead and then come out a 3mm pearl.Secure your thread by passing through several beads, tie a knot and cut off excess thread. I’m a self-taught jewelry maker. Jewelry making wasn’t really a hobby of mine, but unforeseen events lead me to learn jewellery making. My family put up a craft store where we sell cross stitch, beads and all sorts of crafting materials. I fell in love with the beads and tried to create accessories only for myself. Clients liked the pieces and I started customizing handmade jewelleries. The craft store was a success for 6 years, but like any other small businesses we had to close it down and I was confined to staying at home. While at home I had all the time using the internet and now working as a home-based jewelry designerDo join me at Browse our monthly lessons plan at : ? ?? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ................
