Copyright Permission to Re-publish PNGHS Yearbooks

The Port Neches-Groves Independent School District grants the City of Port Neches' Effie &

Wilton Hebert Public Library permission to create and publish digital copies of the PNG High

School yearbooks.

The authorized permission also extends to any future yearbook publications with the

understanding that the City of Port Neches will not publish yearbooks which have been

produced in any preceding 5 year period from the date of publication.

These rights will in no way restrict republication of the material in any other form by PGNISD or

by others authorized by them.

Permission to re-publish digitally is granted with the understanding that the City of Port Neches

will not sell the yearbooks and that the documents will be made available to the public free of

charge.

This letter also confirms that PNGISD owns the copyright to the above-described material.

Mr. Durham,

Good Morning! I have discussed Mrs. Ryan¡¯s concerns with Dr. Cavness and we believe changes must be made

to protect a particular population of students. In the original agreement, I did not consider our special

education students. Our Special Education population is very important to our district and the students in this

program sometimes attend school until the age of 21 and sometimes 22. In order to insure that our current

students are protected, it is important to push back the on-line posting date from 5 years to 9 years. I

sincerely apologize for the oversight and I thank you for your intention to preserve the history of Port NechesGroves ISD.
