Services and Cabins The Deccan Odyssey comprises 21 superlative, royal coaches that wind their way through each well-planned and diverse itinerary. Twelve of these contain the guest cabins and are named after significant regions of Maharashtra. Each cabin on the Deccan Odyssey is spacious and equipped with every modern amenity to make sure that your journey is comfortable and memorable. The cabins are elegantly designed to reflect the

The Deccan Odyssey also offers four resplendent Presidential Suites, the pinnacle of style and sophistication, with exquisite d?cor and all modern amenities. Ellora Caves (closed on Tuesday) - The fine sculptures of the Hindu, Jain and Buddhist caves are the work of the priests and pilgrims passing through the ancient trade route. Day 3 - Tadoba ? Tiger Reserve is the largest national park in Maharashtra. Day 4 - Ajanta Caves (closed on Monday) - are a world heritage site, Ajanta displays the complete panorama of the Buddhist development in India with the Mahayana group, Hinayana group and the later Mahayana group. Day 5 - Nashik - A unique blend of civilization & modernization. Nashik is a paradise for tourists with Historical Caves,Temples, holy rituals, museums, wet lands and lots more. Day 6 - Kolhapur ? The land of magnificent temples, is the religious pride of Maharashtra. It is a historic Maratha city, with the Mahalakshmi temple forming the focus. Day 7 - Goa - India's smallest state, with strong Portuguese influences, having been a colony of Portugal till as late as 1961. Goa is visited by large numbers of international and domestic tourists each year for its beaches, places of worship and world heritage architecture. Day 1 - Board the Deccan Odyssey at Mumbai ? on to Bijapur Day 2 - Bijapur - Bijapur is a town blessed by scattered ruins and still intact gems of the 15th to 17th century Muslim architecture. A formidable fort surrounds the town, which has some of the finest mosques in the Deccan and retains a pleasant atmosphere. Day 3 - Aihole ? Pattadakal , also spelled Pattadakalu is a World Heritage site, a village and an important tourist centre in the state of Karnataka and is located on the left bank of the Malaprabha River in Bagalkot district and is 22 km from Badami and 514 km from Bangalore. It is 22 km from Badami and about 10 km from Aihole. Day 4 - Badami - The capital of the early Chalukyas, Badami is picturesquely situated at the mouth of a ravine between two rocky hills. Badami is famous for its four cave temples - all hewn out of sand stone on the precipice of a hill. Day 5 - Hampi - One of the most fascinating historical sites in South India - the site of the Vijayanagar Empire. Hampi is a world heritage site and is the most beautiful and evocative of all the ruins in Karnataka. Day 6 - Hyderabad ?
