Tariff for general postal services in Bulgaria
Letters
Letters must be placed in envelopes no larger than 260 x 360 mm, thickness up to 20 mm and maximum weight 2 kg.
Tariff weight of letters up to 0.5 kg up to 2 kg
Price 1.80 BGN 3.60 BGN
Prices are in BGN including VAT per item. The price does not include fuel and road conditions charge of 9%
Postal shipment
Post shipments contain objects, with or without, trade value and are not forbidden for transport. Every shipment, or parts of it, must be of total weight of up to 20kg and dimensions up to 60x60x60cm.

The formula for calculating the postal service is as follows:
Postal service = general service + additional service + fuel and road conditions fee. Postal shipments are: small parcels up to 2 kg, printed matter up to 5 kg, cecogrammes of up to 7 kg, and parcels of up to 20 kg. Letters, parcels, registered letter and declared value are universal postal services which are subject to VAT. Proof of Delivery, Cash on Delivery, and Storage after 7 working days are non-universal postal services which are subject to VAT.
Fuel and road conditions fee:
for parcels - the fee is added for letters - the fee is not added.
The fee is announced by Econt on the first day of every month and it depends on road conditions, infrastructure and fuel price in Bulgaria.
Sizes:
For letters - width 260 mm, length up to 360 mm, height up to 20 mm For parcels - up to 60 cm on any side. Each shipment may consist of several parts with a maximum total size of 60 x 60 x 60 cm.
Econtomat
Our Econtomats have boxes in three sizes for sending and receiving shipments:
small ? with maximum shipment sizes: width 61 cm, length 44 cm, height 8 cm medium - s maximum dimensions for shipment with width 61cm, length 44cm and height 18cm big ? with maximum shipment sizes: width 61 cm, length 44 cm, height 37 cm
The tariff rate is based on weight rather than the size of the box. Econt reserves its right to conduct control measurements of each parcel sent via an Econtomat in case of incorrectly specified parameters. For each parcel sent or received through an Econtomat you receive an additional discount of:
10% off the general courier service rate when preparing shipments via your e-Office or at an Econt office 50% off the general courier service rate when a parcel is sent from and received at the same Econtomat
The Tariff has been valid since 01.09.2021.

Our responsibility depends on whether you have allowed us to inspect the contents of the shipment before dispatch: If you have allowed us, we are liable for loss, theft or damage of the contents of the shipment If you have not allowed us, we are liable for loss, theft or damage only of the packaging and not of the contents of the shipment.

A document hand signed by the recipient which guarantees that the shipment has been accepted by them. The signed proof of delivery receipt is returned to the shipper on the next business day.
The prices listed are for 1 (one) item, in Bulgarian leva (BGN), VAT inclusive. Proof of Delivery and Cash on Delivery are non-universal postal services and they are subject to VAT. No fuel and road conditions fee is added to the delivery price.
