A) Transformer Details :

1. Core: EE2005S, CF138 or Eqlt. Air gap in each limb = 0.15mm (6 mil), VERTICAL Bobbin, 8 Pins, No margin tape .

2. W1, Primary Winding: 99T, 1 strand x 35 SWG, (rms pri current = 0.27A) TWO layers, uniformly wind. Wind 45 turns uniformly spread from left to right & Put 1 layer of 2-mil tape. Wind the remaining 43 turns from right to left. Start: Pin 4, Finish: Pin 1.

3. 1 layer of 2 mil tape.

4. W2 Shield Winding : 50 Micron thickness, 6 mm width, 3/4th turn, ONE layer, Start: Pin 1, Finish: NC.

5. 3 layers of 2-mil tape.

6. W3, 12V Secondary Winding: 10T, 2 strands x 26 SWG, ONE layer (sec rms current = 2.39A), uniformly spread to cover bobbin width. Start: Pin 8 Finish: Pin 5.

7. 3 layers of 2mil tape.

8. Fasten core halves ensuring uniform air-gap in all limbs.

9. Primary Inductance, Pin 4-1: 1326uH +10% (measure at 130kHz)

10. Leakage Inductance, Pin 4-1, pins 5 to 8 shorted: approx 40uH (measure at 130kHz)

11. Dip impregnate with varnish.

12. Flux Band around Transformer butting tightly to it. 50 Micron, 5mm Width, centrally placed.

13. Use equal air gap on each of the limbs.

A) Diff mode choke: 2.2mH,0.5A – 1 no, in drum core construction.

B) Output filter choke: 3.3uH, 2A – 1 no, in rod core construction.
