Requirements:

? A Sprint PCS Vision PPC-6700 smart device

? The installation of ActiveSync 4.1 on the laptop or desktop that the AKU 2.0 MR software will be downloaded onto.

Obtaining and installing the software: This software is available at . From the drop down box select "Windows CE" and then select "Submit." When the next screen appears, scroll down to "PPC 6700 software upgrade" and then select "download" to download the file. Customers should download the file to their laptop/desktop. Next, after connecting the PPC-6700 to the laptop/desktop using the USB cable originally included with the PPC-6700, double-click on the downloaded ".exe" file to start the installation process. Then follow the onscreen instructions. The upgrade procedure takes approximately 20 minutes.

Please note: This upgrade requires that ActiveSync version 4.1 is also loaded on the same laptop/desktop. This is a different version than the original software that was shipped with the PPC-6700. ActiveSync 4.1 is available as a free download from Microsoft by going to from there on the left side of the page choose "mobile devices." Note: On some laptops/desktops, "Administrator rights" may be required to install the ActiveSync update.

This update is required to run GoodlinkTM on the PPC-6700. Pending Approved Goodlink Client
