Only those cadets that have completed all paperwork and NS1’s that have also turned in their $20 joining fees will be allowed to attend. Due to the high number of potential cadets, this event might be broken down into two groups traveling on different days. If you want to go than make sure your required paperwork is submitted ASAP! Check the bulletin board or ask your DIVO to see if you are missing anything. This will happen in January and most likely it will be on a Saturday.Jan 7th we are having four people come visit us from the Military Heritage Museum to teach a quick Drone Flying course. This will be limited due to number of drone and instructors available. We will be using your grades, attendance (unexcused), if you have all your paperwork and fees turned in to decide if you are eligible. For those not participating we will hold normal classes. IF there is high interest we can add an additional date later.Orienteering season is approaching. New personnel are need for Color Guard in order to fill a third and even a fourth team. Cadet Jongsma, Karol and Hatfield are Team Leaders and are actively seeking new members to join. If you wanted to be on the team but didn’t know how to get started than be at the weekly practices on Wednesday @ 0630 sharp!Our Annual Inspection is approaching and will be held in conjunction with our Change of Command on the 27th of January. We are tentatively scheduled to be inspected by Rear Admiral Steve Horton. Rear Admiral Horton is a retired Naval lawyer with an impressive background and we will be luckily to have it fit in his busy schedule. Start studying your knowledge now or look like a fool in front a very senior military officer!!ASVAB testing is on 15th of December!!!! If you have signed up or were scheduled for the one that got postponed than you don’t need to do anything but prepare for the test. Several practice tests are available online with a quick goggle search. If you still want to sign up than head to the CRC and see if any spots are still left.S. A.
