Prayer Guide April 8, 2020Family RequestsTom Howard – Pat received a call from Highland Rehab, in the early morning hours, last Friday. They had done some labs on Tom and his kidneys are failing. They have started hospice care there at Highland. Please pray for an easy and peaceful transition to his eternal heavenly home with Jesus. Pray also for strength, peace, and comfort for Pat. Even though he is in hospice care, she is unable to be with him until they determine that he is in his last hours. Oran Loyd – Continue to pray for Oran and Judy as they wait for a time when the procedures Oran was to have done can be rescheduled. Pray for their health and comfort. Pray also for Marj as she waits for updates. Robert Pinkston – (Edwin & Greta’s son) Continue to pray for answers regarding his eye disease. Pray that he will be able to effectively continue his ministry. Ron & Betty Madsen – Continue to pray for Ron and Betty as they are physically apart during this time. Pastor Robert McGee – Pray that his shoulder will not get worse as he waits for his date of surgery. David Hart – (Cindy Summerhill’s brother) Continue to pray for a full recovery from his back surgery. Shirley Moore – Pray for her as she continues to recover from open-heart surgery. Pastor Brent, Pastor Robert, and Pastor Daniel – Please pray for our pastors as they continue to look for effective ways to stay connected with our church family and minister to them. Rick and Crystal Harms – They are asking for prayer for their niece, Rebecca, who has the coronavirus. She works in a hospital and contracted it there. She is running a fever and coughing a lot. Please pray for healing. Donna Swift – She was experiencing some problems yesterday. Therefore, she limited her intake of food. She is better today, although the pain is around in her back again. She said, however, that she was feeling pretty good. Please continue to pray for her. David & Kara Gosnell & daughter Leslie – They are still scheduled to go back to Little Rock next week for Leslie to have additional radioactive seeds implanted Friday, April 17th. Pray for their safety as UAMS currently has many Coronavirus patients. Pray for travel mercies as they make the trip to and from Little Rock. Glenda Moss – She is scheduled to see her oncologist Monday, April 13th. At this time, she isn’t sure if they will start chemo that day or just do lab work. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors regarding the decision on the chemo. Pray for Glenda’s continued recovery. Zachary Pinkston (Edwin & Greta’s grandson, Robert’s son) He has been appointed the liaison between Virginia National Guard and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. This is a response to the COVID-19 Pandemic and a heavy responsibility for a young man. Therefore, the family is requesting prayer for him.
