Each term is worth 35% of your school mark and the school final exam is worth 30% of your school mark.

Expectations/Attendance:

• Homework assignments from the text must be completed and marked on a daily basis.

• You are expected to be here every scheduled period, ready to start on time. I often give surprise quizzes at the start of class and students who arrive late will not be given extra time to complete the quiz.

• You are required to contact me at the school, 992-7007, if you are going to be absent for a scheduled test or you will not be permitted to write a make-up test.

• If you are absent due to illness, you are responsible for finding out what you have missed and seeking extra help, if necessary, to catch up. The pace of the course is rapid and the expectations are very high. You will be given a list of assignments for each chapter and can presume we will cover one section each day.
