From Monday, March 23 until Further Notice

To reduce the possibility of coronavirus (COVID-19) transmission we are not providing direct cashier service, and we are NOT taking CASH PAYMENTS.

Please make property tax payments online at our website: . There is no fee charged to pay using the ELECTRONIC CHECK payment type (a secure way to pay using your bank account). If you do not want to pay online, you can mail a paper check or use your telephone (240-777-8898) to pay. If you pay online or by telephone using a credit or debit card, you will be charged a 2.3% service fee by the credit card processor. These are direct links to pay your property taxes online: Real Property and Business Personal Property.

All other items can also be paid electronically, or by mail; please refer to your bill or citation for details.

TRANSFER WORK: PLEASE USE SIMPLIFILE OR DROP YOUR DOCUMENTS, WITH YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION, INTO THE BLACK MAILBOX IN THE CASHIER LOBBY. WE WILL BEGIN PROCESSING PAPER DOCUMENTS AFTER 48 HOURS TO REDUCE THE POSSIBILITY OF EXPOSURE TO OUR EMPLOYEES. WE WILL CONTACT YOU WHEN THE WORK IS COMPLETE--WAIT TIMES WILL BE LONGER THAN USUAL--WE HAVE TEMPORARILY REDUCED STAFF FOR SAFETY.
