Please read the following guidelines very carefully.Guidelines:This is group assignment. While you have to prepare for your own part of the presentation and you are assessed individually, you need to work with your group partners to make sure that your presentation flow well and that you have managed to cover the different areas of the topic in a clear and coherent manner.The maximum time limit for each presentation is 15 minutes. In total 2 presentations should not exceed 30 minutes.You have to demonstrate that you have understood the lecture notes, and the question asked. In addition, you have to use appropriate examples to support your topic (see marking criteria on the next page table1).Each student can use up to 3 power point slides, then you need to address the points you have listed in your slides. The slides are just to guide you during your presentation.It is not preferred to use notes throughout the presentation. The notes are merely to guide you as you present your work. If you read notes or slides material without explaining anything in your own words, this may lower your mark.You have to use some transition words during your presentation as well as in your group essay when you are moving from one point to another. For example: moreover, furthermore, in addition, additionally, after than, next, then, firstly, secondly, and finally.You are allowed to use pictures and any tables or graphs that may support and related to your topic. However, it is important to avoid using pictures in your essay.Each group is required to prepare and submit a 1000 word essay based on their search of their topic. This essay must include a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. This essay has to be fully referenced, therefore, you have to reference any work or ideas that are not your own. In the written essay, you have to demonstrate that you understand your topic. You will be assessed for your ability to deliver a clear written argument (see marking criteria on the next page Table 2).It is essential to attach your final hard copy of the essay with the Assignment Layout Sample which has been mentioned in your Syllabus (unit outline).You must submit your assignment (essay+ presentation) with a hard copy of your slides as well as your group 1000 word essay at the time of your presentation. You are also required to submit an electronic copy of your slides and essay on the day before your presentation through my email : m00n_eye@Table1.
