Banner 9 Student – Known IssuesIssue #Issue1Performance may be slower in Banner 9. Preferred browsers are Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Edge. 64-bit is recommended over 32-bit. Internet Explorer is not recommended for Banner 9. However, it does need to be used by people use Xtender to scan, annotate, or print documents. Performance with searches and filtering is greatly improved if you use the conditions “Equals” or “Starts With”. 2You may see a page that says “Workspace Services”. If you cannot get past that page, click “Home” and you will be brought back to the Banner 9 landing page.3You may be signed out of Banner 9 if you do not go to a page/form in the first 10 minutes of logging in. The recommendation for now is to not open Banner 9 until you’re ready to begin your work and use a page. 4When choosing from a popup list for a field, the bottom row may be hidden by a bottom scrollbar. This happens when either the browser window has been zoomed in or out, or when the monitor’s display has been scaled to something besides 100%. The workaround is to zoom the browser until the hidden row can be seen. If the monitor’s display setting is the issue, that may need to be changed as well. Another possible workaround is to change the pagination on the popup list to a smaller number of rows per page. This will remove the bottom scrollbar on some popup lists. ................
