State Justice Institute

The SJI's Partner and Technical Assistance Grants help state and local courts (including juvenile

courts and juvenile-drug courts) and their agencies, national nonprofits or national nonprofit

organizations; Funding: Varies; Deadline: Nov. 1.

The SJI () was established by federal law in 1984 to award grants to improve the quality

of justice in state courts. The Technical Assistance (TA) and Partner Grants are two categories of

funding.

?

?

Partner Grants enable the Institute to partner with federal, state or local agencies,

foundations, trusts, and/or other private entities in combining financial resources for the

pursuit of common interests. A dollar-for-dollar match is required.

Technical Assistance Grants help state and/or local courts, or regional court associations,
