Dear LG Customer Care:I am writing this email with regards to the events that took place on February 2, 2015 that caused me lots of anger and frustration. On February 2nd I dropped my Nexus 5 phone, which I only had for 2 months. After reading several technology forums I have learned that many other customers experience similar issues. The forum also said that Google will exchange your damaged phone with a new one, a one-time deal. After spending several hours on the phone, being transferred from Google USA, to Google Canada, then LG USA and finally LG Canada; I finally got to speak to a customer service representative. I explained to the representative that Google was willing to exchange my phone but they couldn’t because I did not buy it from Google Play and said to speak to their Canadian manufacturer LG. Your customer service representative was very rude and aggressive and wasn’t helpful at all. He kept on repeating that I can get my phone fixed for 150 dollars. Given that Google recognizes that it is a manufacturing defect, I found it hard to understand why LG was not extending the same conditions. After about 45 minutes of getting yelled by your so called “customer service” representative I got hung-up on with no call back. I would like to give you an opportunity to resolve the current situation. Otherwise, I will be forced to take other courses of action.
