|We are looking for a candidate to fill in the role of Operations Management Consultant with exceptional business problem solving |

|and strong interpersonal skills. The candidate must have advanced degrees in Operations Research or Management Science with |

|undergraduate in Mathematical Sciences or Engineering. The position will require the person to lead the development of leveragable|

|solutions across multiple DuPont businesses by: |

|  |

|·         Developing Model Based Decision Support Systems for Supply Chain Planning using Operations Research & Simulation |

|techniques |

|·         Performing operations studies requiring analytical approaches to decision making, |

|·         Implementing DuPont Lean Technology & Operations Modeling (LTOM) Center's Operations knowledge agenda |

|·         Providing conceptual insight, problem structuring, modeling, and analytic support. |

|·         Helping DuPont businesses transform the way they manage their supply chain and help accelerate improvements across the |

|end-to-end supply chain. |

|·         Developing state-of-the-art practice knowledge and analysis tools for future use. |

|·         Identifying key differences and similarities in manufacturing processes and its impact on planning |

|·         Assessing businesses' current and target capabilities and developing business cases for achieving target capabilities |

|·         Willingness to learn and support supply chain planning improvement - including Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) and use|

|of SAP, APO, and |

|          BW to support the process |

|·         providing skill coaching, training, and value building for supply chain planning |

|·         Networking with corporate leveraged experts in supply chain to add business value. |

|Examples of the type of work our Operations Consultants perform include: 1) designing global distribution networks, 2) |

|rationalizing manufacturing networks, 3) tailoring logistic systems and channel strategies to meet customer expectations, 4) |

|assessing middle-ware and other software tools to better leverage existing ERP and SCM systems 5) developing aggregate planning, |

|master production scheduling and detailed asset scheduling solutions. |

|This role will integrate the process improvement approaches, using Lean, Six Sigma with SAP Business Process Modeling.  Travel to |

|other regions will be required to support the global supply chain work. This is an outstanding opportunity to work as part of a |

|team at the strategy level and to help solve real life business problems. |

|Qualifications |

|We are seeking experienced individuals who have a strong track record of success and high impact in their prior organizations. The|

|candidate will be required to learn the Business Process Management (BPM) approach to drive supply chain transformation and |

|defining the requirements for development of Model Based Decision Support System. |

|  |

|We are seeking those who possess: |

|·         Master's or PhD in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research/Management Science from a leading academic program with |

|emphasis on |

|          Optimization and Stochastic Processes |

|·         0-10 years design and implementation experience in Advanced Supply Chain Planning Solutions preferred |

|·         0-10 years of related and relevant experience in Supply Chain and Operations |

|·         Knowledge of some supply chain planning tools like, APO, MIMI preferred |

|·         Distinctive knowledge of management science theory, applications and quantitative modeling skills in one or more of the |

|following areas: optimization |

|          methodologies and applications, discrete and continuous event simulations, stochastic modeling, decision analysis, |

|forecasting |

|·         A true spike of knowledge in the core supply chain components (demand planning, supply management, production, |

|distribution etc.) |

|·         Proficiency in one or more of the following tools to solve real-life business problems is desirable: OPL/CPLEX, SAS, |

|SPSS, FLEXSIM, |

|          LOGICNET PLUS, MIMI, GAMS, APO, C++, Java, SQL |

|·         A high level of knowledge of Industry recognized supply chain solutions in APO, MIMI or other advanced planning tools in|

|process industries is  |

|         desirable |

|·         Must demonstrate understanding of system design, cross platform integration, distributed computing, database application|

|in Client/Server |

|          environment, object oriented technology, understand the role of technology in supporting the execution of business |

|processes and Information |

|          Technology trends and issues |

|·         Must demonstrate ability to facilitate system review, data analysis, and situation assessment |
