Performed ALTA survey, CSM, site survey, civil engineering services, and stormwater management design of 27 acre redevelopment site. Biofiltration basins and a wet pond were designed for stormwater management. The project included 250,000 square feet of building addition and 290,000 square feet of parking lot and loading area redesign and reconstruction.

Scope of Services:
Performed ALTA surveys, CSMs, site surveys, civil engineering services, and stormwater management design for individual Walgreen’s projects. Most sites were redevelopment sites with spatial constraints and particular stormwater management challenges. Individual sites utilized a variety of stormwater treatment solutions including bioretention, infiltration and subsurface storage.

Scope of Services:
Performed stormwater management study for the proposed 21 acre urban redevelopment project. The study will serve as a guidance document for implementation of stormwater management BMPs throughout the redevelopment process. Recommended strategies for the redevelopment involved a source control approach and included small scale bioretention basins, green roofs, covered parking and a regional detention basin to treat a 250 acre offsite watershed that drains through the project site.

Joel Ehrfurth, P.E. (WI PE-35719), Principal In Charge/Project Manager
Mr. Ehrfurth has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and over 17 years of experience in engineering. He has extensive project management experience in both private and public sector projects. Mr. Ehrfurth has construction and construction management experience and utilizes that experience to facilitate cost effective, constructible designs. He has been involved in all phases of project development and delivery for a variety of private and municipal clients including resident site engineering, construction quality control, administration and settlement resolution. Mr. Ehrfurth’s responsibilities also include design team coordination, attendance at planning and design meetings pertaining to Mach IV’s scope of services, permitting and approval activities with regulatory agencies, supervision of construction services, and project close-out. Project specialties include site engineering, parking lot layouts/design, stormwater management and design of sewer and water utilities.
Robert Mach, P.E. (WI PE-34742, WI PECFA #1110371), Principal In Charge/Project Manager
Mr. Mach has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and over 15 years of experience in civil engineering. This experience includes planning and design of single family and multi-family residential housing developments, subdivisions, stormwater management systems, commercial land developments, and flood studies. Mr. Mach’s design experience includes feasibility studies, site investigations, preliminary and final design, preparation of construction contract documents, and administration.
Scott Harrig, P.E. (WI PE-38596), Project Manager/Project Engineer
Mr. Harrig has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Marquette University and over 10 years of experience in civil engineering. Mr. Harrig has extensive experience in all phases of project development including design reports, coordination of services, and delivery of contract documents for a variety of private as well as local, and state clients. Project specialties include preliminary and final roadway design, roadway plan preparation, utility design, and stormwater management.
Brian Olesen, PE (WI PE-37303), Project Manager/Project Engineer
Mr. Olesen is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering and Geology. Mr. Olesen is a member of the Northeast Steering Committee for Wisconsin Green Building Alliance, active with Northeast Wisconsin Stormwater Consortium, and sits on the Board of Directors for Heckrodt Wetland Reserve. He is a registered engineer in Wisconsin and Illinois. Project specialties include project management, utility design, and stormwater management.
Ben LaCount, Land Planner
Mr. LaCount has a B.S. in Environmental Policy/Planning and Geography from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. Mr. LaCount has over 13 years of land use planning surveying experience in northeast Wisconsin. His areas of specialty include ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, subdivision plats, certified survey maps, topographic surveys, and boundary surveys. Mr. LaCount has extensive experience in large scale subdivisions, multi-family residential developments, and commercial developments. His experience includes records research, map and file production, legal descriptions and preparing budget estimates. Field experience includes construction staking, field surveys, and establishing horizontal and vertical control. Mr. LaCount has completed US Army Corps of Engineers/WDNR Advanced Wetland Training.
Andrew Cleveland, R.L.S. (WI RLS-2787), Lead Surveyor
Mr. Cleveland has over 17 years of land surveying experience. He has been a surveying crew chief for over 13 years, responsible for project field services including ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, certified survey maps, topographic surveying, boundary surveying, retracement surveying, floodplain mapping, and construction surveying. His experience includes records research, map and file production, legal descriptions and preparing budget estimates. Field experience includes construction staking, field surveys, and establishing horizontal and vertical control. Mr. Cleveland is proficient in conventional survey and GPS.
Chad Fradette, Environmental Scientist (WI PECFA Consultant/Env. Site Assessor #892926)
Mr. Fradette has 14 years of professional consulting experience throughout the Midwest. He has managed a wide range of environmental projects including: Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments; environmental contamination investigation and remediation; wetland delineation, mitigation, and restoration; air emissions testing; and coordination of industrial environmental programs. His experience includes working with the USEPA, US Army Corps of Engineers, Wisconsin Department of Commerce, the Wisconsin DNR, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. Additionally, he has worked with counties, municipalities, private industry, commercial developers, attorneys at law, and lending institutions.
