Introduction
1 PURPOSE OF THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT PLAN
NORTH HIGHLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IS DEDICATED AND STEADFAST TO PROVIDING A HIGH LEVEL OF QUALITY FOR ALL COMPONENTS AND ACTIVITIES FOR TRAINING OF NEW STAFF MEMBERS. ALL MATERIALS MUST BE VISUALLY APPEALING WITHOUT BEING DISTRACTING TO THE LEARNERS. MATERIALS MUST BE RELEVANT TO THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR AND COMPLIANT WITH BOARD POLICY. ADDITIONALLY, THE ACTIVITIES SHOULD BE USER-FRIENDLY, INNOVATIVE AND VARIED.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT
AT THE HIGHEST OF LEVELS QUALITY MANAGEMENT INVOLVES PLANNING, DOING, CHECKING, AND ACTING TO IMPROVE QUALITY STANDARDS. PMI PMBOK BREAKS THE PRACTICE OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT INTO THREE PROCESS GROUPS: QUALITY PLANNING (QP), QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) AND QUALITY CONTROL (QC). THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS DEFINE HOW THIS PROJECT WILL APPLY EACH OF THESE PRACTICE GROUPS TO DEFINE, MONITOR AND CONTROL QUALITY STANDARDS.
1 Quality Planning
• MUST MEET GOALS OF SCHOOL WIDE INITIATIVES
MUST MEET ANNUAL DISTRICT WIDE GOALS FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
• PROGRAM OBJECTIVES WILL BE ESTABLISHED TO SATISFY THE STANDARDS
• A PERFORMANCE MATRIX WILL BE CREATED TO DISPLAY EXPECTATIONS OF STANDARDS
1 DEFINE PROJECT QUALITY
This project should meet all the conditions set forth by North Highland Elementary School and Oklahoma City Public Schools quality policy. Each section of the project will have a variety of scaffolded activities that include visuals as needed. It is important that the stays within budget and on schedule while completing the deliverables is of utmost importance. All videos and material presented in the project should be clear and less than five minutes in length to maintain participant’s attention. Directions must be clear, concise and easy to follow and understand.
3 Measure Project Quality
A Likert-Scale would be used on the surveys.
Round Table and feedback from reviewers in mini sessions to determine what arears need to be tweaked before deployment.
6 Quality Assurance
UPON CREATION OF EACH PRIMARY TASK FROM THE WORK BREAKDOWN SCHEDULE, THE MODULE WILL BE TESTED BY TEAM LEAD WHO ARE NOT MEMBERS OF THE DESIGN TEAM AND A GROUP OF PILOT PARTICIPANTS FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL. THE INTENT THE TEST IS TO TEST THE MODULE FOR EASE OF USE BY THE PARTICIPANTS AND ACCURACY FOR TEAM LEAD. BOTH GROUPS WILL BE ASKED TO CONTRIBUTE HONEST AND CANDID SUGGESTIONS FOR FEEDBACK. SINCE THE DESIGNER IS A PRINCIPAL WHO IS VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE CONTENT, THEY WILL VERIFY THAT THE E-LEARNING MODULE COVERS ALL ASPECTS OF THE STAFF HANDBOOK.
1 ANALYZE PROJECT QUALITY
Pre-Survey (after initial meeting to determine content and format)
• Round Table (after the 4th week)
• Post-Program Survey (after the program has concluded)
• Once all results have been analyzed individually then a round table discussion on the good and the bad.
7 Improve Project Quality
This will be determined once the project is underway.
8 Quality Control
IF THE PROJECT OPERATES WITHIN ACCORDANCE OF THE COMMUNICATION PLAN AND THE MILESTONES, IT SHOULD BE WITHIN BUDGET, SCOPE AND SCHEDULE. SINCE THERE IS A SMALL DESIGN TEAM, IT WILL BE VERY CLEAR IF THE PROJECT IS NOT OPERATING WITHIN THE BUDGETARY OR SCHEDULING CONSTRAINTS. ADDITIONALLY, IF THE STAKEHOLDERS ADHERE TO THE COMMUNICATION PLAN, THEN IT WILL BE CLEAR IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT
APPENDIX A: QUALITY MANAGEMENT PLAN APPROVAL
The undersigned acknowledge they have reviewed the North Highland Elementary New Staff Training QUALITY Management Plan and agree with the approach it presents. Changes to this QUALITY Management Plan will be coordinated with and approved by the undersigned or their designated representatives.
