CG Sales School and you should create a new account using the instructions above.

The Pearson School Portal is a site to select all mobile products. Some choices on the list, such as OLE and Dash products, will not load in your eText for iPad app.

eText for iPad app

Be sure that your iPad is running iOS 4.2 or higher. To check, go to Settings / General / About / Version. If you are on an earlier version, you must first upgrade your iPad to the new iOS.

From your iPad, locate the Pearson eText for Schools Reader application from iTunes by searching for `Pearson eText for Schools.' The icon includes a blue book with the word "for schools" on the cover. The previous app, whose icon has a large "e," is now used for AP titles and home school accounts only

Click on the `Free App' button and then click `Install' to download the application.

Launch the newly downloaded eText App on your iPad and login with your username and password.

Sampling Accounts for eText for iPad

eTexts for iPad customer sampling accounts are now available. These are for distribution to customers to explore eText for iPad on their own on a short-term basis.

To use these codes, teachers must have to download the eText for Schools app to their iPads and enter the login for the program or programs they want and the password. Two types of accounts have been created:

1. Teacher accounts, which include a teacher edition 2. Student accounts, which are SE only.

These accounts are for short-term use. They are not set up for pilots or trials. At a future date within the next few months, the passwords will be changed to prevent sampling from becoming permanent. You will be sent new passwords and/or usernames in advance of the change to avoid issues with customers. Note that these accounts will be shared among all people sampling.

Usernames are specific to a program and teacher or student view. All accounts (except for HS Math Common Core 2012 teacher view) have a common password in this first round: password123
