In-Text Citation Quick Start Wizard

If you have an AUTHOR’S LAST NAME and NO PAGE NUMBER because it’s online, just use the

AUTHOR’S LAST NAME.

Sample: (Smith).

If you have NO AUTHOR’S NAME because it is an unsigned article from the Internet, use the TITLE OF THE ARTICLE. Be sure to use quotation marks around the title and never use the URL.

Sample: (“An Introduction to Diabetes”).

WORST CASE SCENARIO

If you have NO AUTHOR’S NAME because it is an unsigned article from the Internet and you have MORE THAN ONE ARTICLE WITH THE SAME TITLE, use the TITLE OF THE ARTICLE and the NAME OF THE WEBSITE. Be sure to use quotation marks around the title and never use the URL.

BEST CASE SCENARIO
