A) Nouns- A noun is the name of a person, place, or thing. Some of the things named by nouns can be seen. Some cannot.

B) Verbs- A verb is the action in the sentence.

C)Adjectives-Adjectives as Modifiers An adjective describes a noun or a pronoun. Adjectives usually answer one of these four questions about the nouns and pronouns they modify: What kind? Which one? How many? How much?
