Typescript All parts of the paper must be typed on A4 (210 ...



All parts of the report must be typed on A4 (210 x 297mm) with at least 2.5 cm margins at top, bottom, and sides, and must be produced on one side only. Each page of the typescript should be numbered on the bottom in the right corner.

NOTE:

Each report must not exceed 10 pages in total, and should be submitted on paper and CD until 30th October.

THE TYPESCRIPT SHOULD BE ARRANGED AS FOLLOWS:

1. TITLE: All words of title must be with bolded capital letters. (Times New Roman, 14 point font size, justified.)

2. AUTHORS: Titles is followed by authors’ first names and surnames. Do not include degrees or professional titles (e.g. Dr, Prof, etc.). (Times New Roman, 10 point font size, italic, centered.)

3. ADDRESSES OF AUTHORS: Authors' addresses are given in the following order: upper index (if there is one), affiliation, department, mailing address, city, state, e-mail. Each new address starts on a new line. (Times New Roman, 9 point font size, Alignment: left, single line spacing.)

4. TEXT: Paper text must be Times New Roman, 12 point font size, justified, 1,5 line spacing. First line of each paragraph is indented (tab = 1.25 cm)

5. Acknowledgements Times New Roman, 10 point font size. Set one empty line between last text paragraph and acknowledgements section. Line spacing: At least 10 pt, Alignment: justified. Format: Begin with the word "Acknowledgements" and a full stop in bold, followed by two spaces, then the acknowledgements text.

6. References. Set the word "References" as a head. Font: Times New Roman, 9 point font size, justified, single line spacing. For each reference the first line is indented with tab = 1,25 cm. Reference arrangement is in alphabetical order of authors' names or first word of head.

7. SUMMARY The size of the summary must not exceed 100 words, formatted as a single paragraph, line spacing: single. The Summary must be arranged as follows:

8. FIGURE AND TABLE CAPTIONS. You must begin with word “Table/Fig.”, the number in Arabic, in bold, full stop, and two spaces, followed by the title text, which is not bold. The title must not be wider than the table/figure itself. If longer than one line continue on the next but observe the same width. Font: Times New Roman, 9 point font size, Right Alignment. Space before and after: 12 pt.

9. TABLES Tables can be positioned either landscape or portrait. Dimensions of tables along the wide side of the page cannot exceed the following values: width 177.8 mm (7") and height 127.0 mm (5") together with the figure captions. If you change the page orientation replace the values for the height by the values for the width. The space between the table (the caption inclusive) and the text of the article top and bottom, should be the same – 6 pt.

10. TABLE DATA Font: Times New Roman, 10 point font size, 1,5 Line spacing. Data within the columns may be aligned flush right within the column, flush left within the column, or centered within the column. All columns (except the first) must have a heading. Space between columns must be equal. Tables must contain at least 2 columns and at least 2 rows of data. All parts of tables must be single-spaced; double spacing is used to separate different parts of the tables or to show grouped data.

11. FIGURES Figures’ dimensions should not exceed 88.9mm (3.5") width and 127 mm (5") height. If two or more graphs are grouped in one figure, its height should be up to 177.8 mm (7") and width 127 mm (5") together with captions. The latter must be at 6 pt space above or below the figure, not wider than the figure itself. Space between figure together with caption and the text of the article (if there is one) must be equal on all sides: top and bottom, – 6 pt.

Please place the figures where you want them to appear in the text. You can submit another electronic copy in “.jpg” or “.tif” format for each figure separately. The resolution of the picture file must be at least 300dpi (or above) and the picture size does match the size you want it to appear in the text. Please do not forget figures captions.

12. CITATIONS

When citing please follow the two samples of this instruction.

Sample 1:

…In this region, higher densities in the mantle due to cooling across the fracture zone, serpentinized peridotites with a higher density than gabbros of the same velocity (Miller et al., 1997).

If you cite two or more works of the same author (authors) of the same year, place small letters a, b, c…after the year. When arranging the reference list follow the alphabetical order of authors’ names and the first word of the article or book head/title and do not forget to place the same small letter after the year.
