As a small company, our culture is team oriented and emphasizes open communication, loyalty and collaboration.?Opportunity?We are seeking a full-time Property Manager with property accounting experience to join our team. Reporting to the President and Vice President, the Property Manager will play an integral role in managing the day to day building operations and liaising with our commercial tenants. Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:?Respond to tenant inquiries by phone and email;Coordinate maintenance repairs with onsite staff and suppliers;Track and schedule regular maintenance;Preparation of month, quarter, and year end reporting;Manage the tenant move in and move out processes;Draft letters of communication with tenants and suppliers;Prepare the annual budgeting process for all commercial properties; Availability to handle after hours emergency calls from time to time;Make customer service calls regularly and assist with different forms of tenant surveying;Perform on site visits to tenants, currently located in Vancouver and Victoria, as required; Handle full-cycle accounting for a handful of commercial properties with assistance from the team;Provide accurate and timely financial information as required internally by management; andBe involved with all facets of the business, as need.Must Haves?A minimum of 3-5 years of Property Management experienceWorking knowledge of property accountingExcellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skillsStrong customer-oriented skillsStrong organization skillsAbility to multi-taskGood computer skills – MS Office (Excel and Word), experience with Quickbooks software is an assetA Property Management License is required A vehicle is preferred in order to perform the occasional site visit??Above all, we are looking for a like-minded individual who has a strong work ethic, is humble, has a sense of humour and genuinely cares about their colleagues and work.
