Photo Shoots

In the age of cell phone cameras and digital photography, for years the only photos that

folks have had of their loved ones have been grainy and blurry snapshots and selfies taken

on cell phones. Thankfully professional Photo Shoots have made a huge comeback. And

what better way to do a couple or family photo shoot than with horses?

Our photo shoots have become so popular that we have put together a whole page of

packages to choose from!

Professional Photo Shoots

We will arrange one of our amazing photographers for you, depending on who is available

on the day you have chosen. All of these options are for just a photo shoot with the horses

at the location. If you are booked for a ride with us, we will give you a 12% discount on the

photo shoot.

Each package includes the horses dressed nicely (normally Blue and White themed) and at

least 1 horse handler to assist. Props are available if you arrange it beforehand.

* A 45 minutes rustic shed and forest photo shoot at our farm for R700 for 1 person, or

R900 for a couple.

This is a great option for after doing a 45 minute bush trail. It has quite the Cowboy feel.

* A 45 minutes Bush and Grasslands photo shoot at our farm for R700 for 1 person, or R900

for a couple.

This is a great option if you are really wanting to do a themed shoot, its well suited to the

Pocahontas feel, and to Princes and Princesses.

* A 45 minute Beach photo shoot for R800 for 1 person and R1000 for a couple.

This is of course a favourite option in Durban. With a stunning dress, or a beach outfit, you

will feel like a celebrity.

* A 45 minute Canal and River photo shoot And it will cost a R750 for one person or R950

for a couple.

This has a very punk rock feel to it, this new addition to our photo shoots is well suited for

the adventurous or for professional models looking to add horses to their portfolio!

The photographer will take up to 3 weeks to have your photos edited and on a DVD disc for

you. The disc may be collected from our farm at Horse Beach Rides when it is ready, or

couriered to you (any major town/city in South Africa) for R150.

The Budget Photo Shoot

This will be done by one of our Up and Coming photographers. These are talented young

individuals who currently only have point & shoot cameras, however still take pretty

amazing photos.

All of these options are for just a photo shoot with the horses at the location. If you are

booked for a ride with us, we will give you a 5% discount on the photo shoot.

Each package includes the horses dressed nicely (normally Blue and White themed) and at

least 1 horse handler to assist. Props are available if you arrange it beforehand.

R500 for a couple.

Bring Your Own Photographer

If you have a photographer of your own that you prefer to bring, or you are a photographer

looking to do a portfolio shoot that includes horses and one of our amazing location, we are

able to arrange this too! We will meet you at the location with the horses dressed nicely

(normally Blue and White themed) and at least 1 horse handler to assist.

* A 45 minutes rustic shed and forest photo shoot at our farm for R200 for 1 person, or

R300 for a couple.

This is a great option for after doing a 45 minute bush trail. It has quite the Cowboy feel.

Optional Extras

Of course we will try to suit the packages to each person, and we normally are willing to

adapt the packages within reason and adjusting the costing accordingly. We also can offer

the following add-ons to your package:

? Videographer ¨C We do have a young, up and coming videographer available on

request. POA

? Props ¨C We have a few props available. Such as, Cowboy Hats, Parasols, & mini chalk

boards.

? Specifically coloured horses ¨C Depending on your level of horse riding skill, and your

weight we assign the horses. However we do try to accommodate your requests for a

particular colour of horse, please let us know well in advance.

? Themed shoots ¨C Something we think is absolutely a fun option is doing themed

shoots. We can supply the Red Cape and the Wicker Basket to look like Little Red

Riding Hood, the Black Cape, the Mask & the Sword props to make you look like

Zorro. And other themes are available too. POA.

? Prints ¨C We can arrange for your photos to be printed and framed. Or to be printed

on canvas, mugs, jigsaw puzzles and more. POA.

Please note ¨C you cannot do a Bush Ride, with a Beach Photo Shoot. You have to book for a

Beach Ride if you want a Beach Photo Shoot.

Terms and Conditions ¨C also known as The Small Print

The price of photo shoots with good photographers (like we have), excluding horse riding,

anywhere else starts at almost double our prices. In order to keep these amazing prices we

have certain terms and conditions that are in place. Should you not agree with these, or

should you wish to query these, please contact us and maybe we can find a compromise.

Included and Excluded in your package

? These packages do NOT include any prints. Should you wish to get prints, this will be at additional

cost and should be arranged beforehand.

? Select photos taken on these photo shoots will be posted online on our social media pages, on the

photographer¡¯s social media pages, and sometimes used for advertising purposes (relax, we wont

use any embarrassing ones), this is part of what helps to keep the costs down for you. Should you

not wish to have any of your photos posted online, this will make the cost of your photo shoot

escalate. We will select the photos we choose to use online.

? The photographer¡¯s contact details will not be shared with clients and the client¡¯s contact details

will not be shared with the photographers unless special permission is given. We will not be held

liable if you find each other on social media.

? The photos will not be available in less than 21 days/3 weeks. Rushing the process actually makes it

take longer, please do not rush the photographer as rush jobs create mistakes and in the end no

one is happy.

Collection/Delivery.

? Once your disc of photos is ready to collect, we will contact you (via sms, email or whatsapp) to

come fetch your disc.

? Should we be near your area anyway and we have the disc with us, special arrangements may be

made to drop off the disc with you. However we cannot guarantee this option being available.

? Should you be unable to collect the disc due to not being in Durban or having transport issues, we

would be happy to have it couriered to your door (in any major South African city) for an additional

R150.

? Should you be out of South Africa, or prefer to have your photos sent to you digitally via dropbox,

this may be arranged. NOTE: You may either have them on disc or via dropbox, not both.

? Should you not make arrangements to collect or have your photos sent to you within 1 month of

being notified they are ready, we will send you 1 reminder. If you have not made arrangements to

collect or have them sent to you within 2 months of the reminder, your disc will be destroyed, the

dropbox folder will be deleted, and you will no longer be entitled to your photos through us or the

photographer. If you have not collected your photos or made arrangements within this time, no

refunds will be considered.
