|Do you want a chance to give back to your community? There is currently an opportunity for high school students to be a part of Teen Council. In the |

|past, Teen Council has developed and conducted food drives, holiday activities in nursing homes, social skills and cultural awareness activities in |

|local elementary schools as well as a variety of other community service projects. |

| 36 students will follow a program of study based on a current global challenge. This year, it’s sustainability. Your team will select a problem to |

|solve. You’ll explore solutions by working in mini research groups, interacting with professors from across the Wake Forest campus, going on study |

|The Shelton Challenge is a one-week summer experience for rising 9-12th graders. The core curriculum focuses on Leadership Roles and Accountability, |

|Team Building, Leadership Styles and Situations, Social Responsibility, Integrity as a Leader, Public Speaking, Changing Behaviors, and Goal Setting. |

|The one-week program is held on four different weeks on different campuses in NC. Total cost is $575 and scholarships may be available. Students must |

|The core focus of Camp Med Summer Internship Program is to educate future medical/healthcare professionals and to expose students to a variety of |

|Carnegie Mellon Summer Pre-College Programs |For: 10th & 11th Graders |

|programs. You can either explore architecture, art, design, drama, music or the National High School Game Academy to prepare yourself for study at the |

|Savannah College of Art and Design is offering two summer programs for high school students. The Rising Star program is a 5-week residential program in|

|Savannah for advanced students who are rising seniors. A minimum 3.0 GPA and a portfolio of 10-20 pieces are required. The Summer Seminars are |

|one-week residential programs in Atlanta and Savannah designed for rising 10th, 11th and 12th graders. |
