Protection Spells - PSICAN

Protection Spells

Casting spells can be done by praying, chanting, singing, rhyming, speaking [out loud/inside your head] and/or in writing – in other words, visualizing and focusing in on the need. A good time to cast a spell is during the waxing moon [from New Moon to Full Moon]. Waxing moons are “growing” – helping your spell to grow. However, a beautiful, sunny day is just as appropriate. Try to make sure that when you “do” your spell, you’re as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Candle Spells

- Burn a black candle and visualize negativity being dispelled and dispersed from you.

Colours

Wear the following three colours everyday for general protection:

- Blue for protection, calmness, healing, and peaceful sleep. White for purity, innocence, peace, and protection. Black to absorb & banish negativity.

Aromatherapy and Scents

Use the following in atomizers, room sprays, simmering pots, facial sprays, colognes, splashes, or perfumes.

- Lavender for calmness and stress reduction. Musk for courage. Myrrh for protection. Rose for peacefulness. Any of the spices – cloves, cinnamon, vanilla – to be uplifted.

- Confidence jasmine, patchouli, sandalwood

- Stress jasmine, lavender, neroli, rose, sandalwood

Symbols

- Knots, particularly Celtic knots, are worn for protection. The easiest way to wear a Celtic knot is in a ring. Celtic knots arise from the mating behaviour of snakes. So, snakes, too, are considered protective.

- Circles, pentacles, Star of Solomon, and the Egyptian Eye of Horus are all considered to be protective amulets or talismans.

- Having a ladybug [ladybird] in your car, on your bike, or in your wallet/purse will always help you to get home.

Angels

- Pray to the Archangel Gabriel in the west, thinking of winter. He is the deliverer of good news – the good news that you are safe and protected.

- Pray to the Guardian Angel of Heaven and Earth, who lives in the Sixth Heaven, to protect you from natural disasters.

- Pray to your own guardian angel or spirit guide to protect you. Any family, friends, and loved ones who have passed into the light are also guardian angels and can be prayed to for protection.

Crystals and Stones

Use the following stones and crystals for protection. Wear the stones as necklaces, bracelets, rings, or earrings, or even just place them in your pockets and wallets.

- Aquamarine is known as the Courage Stone.

- Carnelian promotes confidence.

- Topaz is the Personal Power Stone. It helps promote self-confidence.

- Citrine promotes self-discipline.

- Geraniums protect you against snakes.

- Honesty [money plants] when scattered about your house will repel all monsters.
