BIG TEN Paris Saint-Germain has won 10 times in 10 games since the beginning of the season, all competitions included. The Rouge et Bleu started by winning their fourth Troph?e des Champions against Montpellier (34-27). Then, they got six wins in Lidl Starligue, only team to do so, and three successes in Champions League.

GOING FOR THE RECORD Last Thursday, Paris reached 50 home games without a loss, all competitions included. Our team joined the Montpellier Handball, who set this mark between Feb 2001 and Nov 2003. Today, Paris can set the new unbeaten record for a French team at home with a win or a draw against Celje. 51 straight home games without losing has never been done in France so far. In Champions League, Paris has not lost in the last 39 home games (in Halle Carpentier and Coubertin). Last time Paris was beaten at home in Champions League was almost 5 years ago, on Nov 16th 2014 vs Kiel. In Lidl Starligue, the Rouge et Bleu are on a 29-game winning streak in Coubertin, since June 8th 2017.

LEADING EUROPE Since 2015-2016 and the new format, Paris is the best team in Europe in the group phases with 103 pts earned (over 118). Barcelona is the 2nd best team with 98 pts and one more game played. Last season, the Rouge et Bleu finished at the 1st place of Group B with 26 pts. They broke a record of points in group phase since the introduction of the new format in 2015-2016.

TOUGH START Celje is still looking for its first point in Champions League this season. The Slovenians lost their three first games, including a 21-45 in Barcelona on Week 2.

YOUNG SQUAD Average age of Celje's team is only 20. The oldest player is the Slovenian goalkeeper Klemen Ferlin, 30. The Croatian left back, Josip Sarac, is the best scorer of the team at 21 years old with 13 goals.

200 IS COMING Kim Ekdahl du Rietz targets his 200th career goal in Velux EHF Champions League today. The Swedish left back has scored 199 goals so far in the competition. He collected his 100th career goal in Lidl Starligue in N?mes, ten days ago. His teammate Sander Sagosen, who is injured (see below), is also coming close to the 200 mark, he has 190 goals overall.

STREAK ALIVE Paris won the last 6 games against Celje, from Oct 2015 to Feb 2019. Last time the Rouge et Bleu lost the Slovenian club was in Jan 1997 (20-26), just two months after a loss on the first match between both teams (22-31). Overall, Paris is 6-2 against the Slovenian champion.

ROOKIES TIME? Sadou N'Tanzi is still in the group today, such as the three last games. The center back made his debut in Lidl Starligue last season, playing 3 games and scoring 4 goals. The member of the U19 French national team could take part of his first Champions League game. Another player from the youth system has been called up: the right back Louis Despreaux. The 20-year-old will be on professional game match sheet for the first time.

ONE TROPHY ALREADY Paris won the Troph?e des Champions two weeks ago vs Montpellier (34-27) in Limoges. The Rouge et Bleu earned the competition for the 4th times in club history, a new record (Montpellier won it 3 times). The Troph?e des Champions was played in one game for the first time. Paris has still not lost once vs Montpellier in the Troph?e des Champions (4 games, 4 wins).

INJURY REPORTS Mikkel Hansen will also miss today's game after undergoing a concussion. The 2018 IHF Handball Player of the Year didn't play the last six games. Sander Sagosen had an injury at the adductor muscle two weeks ago vs Toulouse. The centre back is supposed to come back in two weeks. Henrik Toft Hansen is also out for a concussion that happened at the end of last game.

Adama Keita is playing his second season as a professional with the Paris Saint-Germain. From Club youth system, the left winger was captain and best scorer of the reserve team. Selected in few youth French national teams, Adama Keita, born in Paris, won the bronze medal at the U21 World Championship in 2017, together with Melvyn Richardson or Dika Mem. Beno?t Kounkoud joined the youth system of the club in 2014 after his performances with his club of La Source, on La R?union island. He discovered the Lidl Starligue few months later at 17 years old. With the French national team, the right wing became U20 European Champion in 2014 and U21 World Champion in 2015. His rise is rewarded by a selection in the French national team at the 2016 European championship. After getting injured and undergoing knee surgery, he missed the second part of the 2018-2019 season. He is one of the oldest player in the team after Luc Abalo and Mikkel Hansen.

Rodrigo Corrales signed with the Paris Saint-Germain Handball at the Summer 2017 to compose the pair of goalkeepers with Thierry Omeyer. Trained in Barcelona youth system, the Galician was loaned to Huesca during two seasons and then to Plock, in Poland. He took part of his first big competition with the Spanish team at the 2017 World Championship. One year later, he earned the European championship after beating France in semifinals and Sweden in final.

Henrik Toft Hansen began his professional career in Mors, in the north of Denmark, his native region. After ten seasons, he moved to Germany, first of all in Hamburg and then in Flensburg alongside with his brother, Ren?. The line player won all major titles with team Denmark: 2012 European championship, 2016 Olympic Games and 2019 World championship together with his teammate in Paris, Mikkel Hansen. Edouard Kempf joined Paris Saint-Germain youth system in 2016. Called up by the coach after injuries at the right wing, the kid of Mulhouse had great performances in the Velux EHF Champions League during the 2017-2018 season. He signed his first professional contract in February 2019. Luka Karabatic played tennis at high level when he was a teenager.
