YOU HAVE THE POWER TO PLAN, PREVENT & PROTECT!

Coming to Your Community "Let's Talk !"

A workshop for parents on communicating with children about sexuality and reproduction.

The Department of Public Health, Reproductive Health Services, is now offering "Let's Talk" - a 2 hour workshop for parents and other guardians of children in San Bernardino County. The workshop will help parents learn how to share their family's

values with their children, and develop and communicate information about healthy human sexuality.

Workshops offer tips for parents on encouraging abstinence for their children. The workshop focuses on abstinence as the only 100% effective way of preventing teen

pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

Some parents may feel uncomfortable discussing sexuality issues with their children - this workshop gives parents the information, knowledge, and confidence they need to

effectively communicate with their children about their own family values regarding sexuality and reproduction. Parents also receive tips on responding to those "hard-to-answer" questions that their children may ask.

Schedule a workshop in your community for parents to learn valuable skills for communicating with their children. At our first 15 workshops scheduled, a lucky door prize winner

will receive a $25 Gift Card to Applebee's Restaurant!

Come and learn more! "Let's Talk!"
