Guidelines for manuscript submissions

We review submissions for children's picture books and non-fiction books aimed at readers up to 10 years of age. Submissions do not have to be illustrated. We also review young adult novels and non-fiction books.

Please note: ? We are a small publisher and only publish a handful of books a year. Whilst we try to respond

to all submissions, it may take up to three months for us to get back to you. ? We accept submissions directly from authors as well as from literary agents. ? If you have sent your work to other publishers please state this in your covering letter. ? We are also on the lookout for illustrators.

The format of your submission:

? For children's books aged 0-10 years, please send us a complete manuscript along with a covering letter or email.

? For young adult novels, please include a synopsis and the first three chapters of your manuscript.

? Please ensure all submissions sent by post are disposable. Do not include handwritten material or original artwork because we will be unable to return this to you.

? All manuscripts should include consecutive page numbers and the title on every page, and preferably be printed on a single side of the paper.

? Please include your name, address, telephone number and email address on your covering letter.

? Unfortunately, we cannot return any manuscripts. All manuscripts that are not successful will be recycled.

? All responses will be sent by email, whether submissions are received electronically or by post. PLEASE therefore provide an email address.
