Troy Missouri is not a very pet friendly hotel area. There are hotels in Troy but in the past they have NOT accepted dogs staying in the rooms. There is a Motel 6 in town that is forced to take dogs but we have not had any acceptable reviews about them.

Wentzville and O'Fallon, MO are much larger towns with more motels to offer. They are about 20 miles south of the field trial grounds off Interstate 70. Too many to list all but here are a few that have accepted dogs in the past. Please check with them regarding their current dog policies and if they allow pets.

DCA 2019 FIELD TRIAL - RV Reservation Form

- RESERVATIONS: RV parking and camping (car or tent) for the DCA Field Trials is available but is limited and MUST BE RESERVED IN ADVANCE. Forms must be received by 24 April 2019.

- RV parking for the Field Trials will not start before 12:00 PM on Monday May 13, 2019.

- POWER: Limited power is available and preference will be given to committee members and judges. Be sure to bring sufficient length of extension cords to reach available power outlets. Power is only 15 amp so if AC is needed, RVs will need to run their generators, so be prepared to vent generators away from other campers.

- The ground is somewhat uneven in some places so campers should be prepared with sufficient leveling devices.

- All RVs must vacate the property following presentation of awards on Friday May 17, 2019

- Fees are $20 per night for power and $10 per night without power.

- Confirmation of reservation/payment will be made by e-mail if provided on this form.

- Very large or complex rigs may have difficulty in navigating the dirt/gravel road leading to the grounds. If you have questions, contact the person below.

Other nearby camping facilities include Cuivre River State Park. They allow dogs but individuals especially with large numbers of dogs should check with the Park to ensure they will be allowed to use the Park.

NOTE: For those with very large RV rigs that are concerned about getting into the grounds, or who need 30 amp power, we have arranged to use a camping area about 15 minutes from the grounds that has plenty of 30 amp power and lots of grass, but no water. You will need to have transportation from the campground to the field trail grounds but it is only about 15 minutes away at Lincoln County Old Threshers field( )There is no bathroom at these grounds but there will probably be a porta-potty. The cost is $20 a night and you need to make reservations via this form including payment in advance.
